Shipping Company of the Year

This award recognises the shipping company/ship management company that has done the most to provide the highest quality welfare services for seafarers.

Seafarers nominate a shipping company based on the following criteria:

The welfare services and facilities provided on board ship.
How the company enables seafarers to keep in contact with family & friends while at sea.
How the company helps seafarers access welfare services and facilities in ports.
Support provided to families of seafarers by the company.

Judges criteria

Shipping companies/ship management companies will be judged on the following criteria:

The welfare services and facilities that the company provides on board ship.
How the company helps seafarers keep in contact with their family & friends while at sea.
How the company helps seafarers access welfare services and facilities in ports.
How the company ensures that the welfare of seafarers is a priority.
Support provided to families of seafarers by the company.
